Behind Italy was founded by Francesca Boldrini, a travel designer and licensed guide based in Tuscany. Her starting point is a conversation: what brings you to Italy, what holds your attention, and how you want to spend your time.
Guides, makers, hosts and producers are selected around each brief. Practical arrangements receive the same attention as the encounters themselves, so that an idea becomes a considered programme.
